“How do I become a Handmade Sellers Club member?"

Here's the scoop....

In order to become a Handmade Sellers Club Member you must qualify.

To qualify you must meet these three criteria:


1.  This program is for people who make handmade products only.  Period. 
As long as there are creative changes made by you to the product, we consider it handmade.

This includes items made with a cricket, an embroidery machine, via sublimation, or what we would more traditionally consider handmade like crochet, painting, sewing, etc.

This is not for dropshippers, people in network marketing (unless there is a handmade product component) or people who buy products at wholesale and resell them without any changes.
 

2.  In order to be featured on our Small Shop Discovery website and social media, you must be located in the US or Canada.  

With the influx of international sellers on Etsy making it difficult for buyers to determine whether a product is handmade or not and the frustration they feel when it takes nearly a month for a product to be delivered, we wanted to make SSD all about “local” sellers, those here in the US and Canada.
 

We do have a few members that are outside of the US and Canada who join simply for the training but understand they do not get feature opportunities.  

3.  You must bring an open mind, positive outlook, and good intentions into the community.  

We have a zero shenanigans policy.  

Sure, we all have bad days, but we will not tolerate members who are constantly negative, argue against the training, or who in any way create a hostile environment for our members.  

We have absolutely no problems canceling memberships and removing disruptive members.
